I have been spinning yarn since 2008. I like to make very fine string out of unusual fibers like buffalo wool, pet fur, my own homegrown brown cotton, Luna moth silk, and sometimes my own hair. Then I use this string to create net laces, or webs.

I work extensively with pigments and natural dyes, and I teach workshops on both dyeing and spinning.

I’m currently learning HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Java with the goal of being a decent front-end web designer.

So then I will be a web designer in both the physical and digital realms…

As my skill increases I will move away from using a WordPress theme and create my website from scratch.
